Placements24 is seeking a meticulous Logistics Coordinator in Vereeniging, Gauteng, to manage inbound and outbound shipments, optimize routes, and coordinate carrier relations. The role balances on-site activity with remote planning across a hybrid setup.

You will monitor shipments, maintain records, and collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely deliveries in a fast-paced FMCG environment. A suitable logistics qualification and 3+ years of experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Logistics, SCM, or related field.
• Min. 3 years in logistics coordination, preferably FMCG.
• Proficiency in logistics software and MS Office, esp. Excel.
• Strong understanding of TMS and WMS.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Hybrid environment with on-site Vereeniging and remote planning.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics activities for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Plan routes and loads to meet delivery timelines.
• Liaise with carriers, suppliers, and internal teams to resolve issues.
• Maintain accurate shipment, inventory, and delivery records.
• Track shipments in real time and provide updates to stakeholders.
• Assist warehouse operations for smooth goods flow.
• Identify process improvements within logistics.
