Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in logistics coordination or a similar role, preferably within the FMCG industry.
• Solid understanding of transportation management, warehousing, and inventory control.
• Proficiency in using logistics software and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, balancing office and remote tasks.
• Problem-solving aptitude and ability to work under pressure.
• Familiarity with the Randburg, Gauteng logistics infrastructure is a plus.
• A proactive approach to managing daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily logistics operations, including transportation scheduling and execution.
• Manage warehouse operations to ensure efficient storage, inventory management, and order fulfillment.
• Plan and optimize delivery routes to minimize costs and delivery times.
• Track shipments and provide timely updates to internal stakeholders and customers.
• Liaise with transportation carriers to negotiate rates and ensure service level agreements are met.
• Resolve any logistical issues or discrepancies that may arise during transit or warehousing.
