Job summary

Placements24 seeks a meticulous Supply Chain & Logistics Coordinator based in Centurion, Gauteng, to optimize inventory, coordinate warehousing and transport, and liaise with suppliers and internal teams. The role emphasizes problem-solving, accuracy, and regulatory compliance to ensure timely product availability.

The ideal candidate has a relevant degree and 2–4 years of FMCG experience, with ERP/WMS proficiency and strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or National Diploma in SCM, Logistics, or related field.
2–4 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or inventory management.
Strong understanding of inventory management and transportation modes.
Proficiency with ERP systems and SCM software.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work with cross-functional teams and external partners.
Legal eligibility to work in South Africa.

Responsibilities

Coordinate day-to-day supply chain operations including inventory management, warehousing, and transport in Centurion.
Monitor stock levels and manage reordering to optimize inventory and costs.
Plan inbound and outbound shipments for raw materials and finished goods.
Liaise with suppliers, logistics providers and internal teams to resolve disruptions.
Track shipments and provide status updates to stakeholders.
Support procurement with supplier performance insights.
Ensure health, safety, and regulatory compliance.
