Placements24 is seeking an experienced Senior Logistics Coordinator to join our Randburg operations, overseeing inbound/outbound logistics, route optimization, and carrier management. You will ensure regulatory compliance and drive continuous improvement.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in FMCG logistics, strong transportation and inventory control skills, and proficiency with SAP/Oracle. The role involves hybrid scheduling and collaboration with procurement, sales, and production teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics coordination or management, preferably within the FMCG industry.
• Proven experience in transportation management, warehouse operations, and inventory control.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate and manage all inbound and outbound logistics activities, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution.
• Plan and optimize shipping routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries and minimize costs.
• Select and manage relationships with third-party logistics providers and carriers.
• Monitor shipment progress and proactively address any delays or issues.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant transportation regulations, customs requirements, and company policies.
• Maintain accurate records of all logistics transactions and prepare regular performance reports.
• Collaborate with internal departments (procurement, sales, production) to ensure seamless supply chain flow.
• Implement and drive continuous improvement initiatives within logistics operations.
• Manage inventory levels within warehouses and distribution centers.
• Work effectively in a hybrid environment, coordinating from our Randburg office.
