Placements24 is seeking a proactive Supply Chain Coordinator in Sandton, Gauteng. You will coordinate inbound/outbound logistics, manage stock and lead-time metrics, and liaise with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or inventory management, preferably FMCG.
• Strong understanding of supply chain principles and best practices.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Experience with inventory management software or ERP systems is an advantage.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
• Familiarity with the Sandton area and the Gauteng logistics networks.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics.
• Manage inventory levels, ensuring accuracy and minimizing stockouts and excess inventory.
• Liaise with suppliers, manufacturers, and transportation providers to ensure timely deliveries.
• Process purchase orders and manage stock replenishment.
• Optimize warehouse operations for efficiency and space utilization.
• Monitor and report on key supply chain performance metrics (e.g., lead times, inventory turnover).
• Identify and resolve supply chain issues and disruptions promptly.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies related to logistics and inventory.
• Collaborate with sales, production, and finance teams to align supply chain activities with business needs.
• Maintain accurate supply chain records and documentation.
