Job summary

Placements24 seeks a versatile Facilities Maintenance Technician to support operations in Centurion. You will perform preventative maintenance, respond to repair requests, and ensure that building systems and grounds are safe and functional.

Qualifications

• Minimum proven experience as Maintenance Technician or similar facilities role.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC and general repairs.
• Experience with diagnostic tools and repair techniques.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical manuals.
• Excellent organization and multitasking abilities.
• Willingness to work on-site and remotely as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventative maintenance on building systems (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, structural).
• Respond promptly to maintenance and repair requests from staff and management.
• Diagnose and resolve a variety of technical issues to minimize disruption.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.
• Oversee and coordinate with external contractors for specialized services.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and building code regulations.
