• Minimum proven experience as Maintenance Technician or similar facilities role.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC and general repairs.
• Experience with diagnostic tools and repair techniques.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical manuals.
• Excellent organization and multitasking abilities.
• Willingness to work on-site and remotely as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventative maintenance on building systems (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, structural).
• Respond promptly to maintenance and repair requests from staff and management.
• Diagnose and resolve a variety of technical issues to minimize disruption.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.
• Oversee and coordinate with external contractors for specialized services.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and building code regulations.

About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled and versatile Facilities Maintenance Technician to support operations in Centurion. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth functioning and upkeep of our facilities, encompassing a range of maintenance and repair tasks. You will be responsible for preventative maintenance, responding to repair requests, and ensuring that all building systems and grounds are kept in excellent working order, contributing to a safe and productive environment. While some tasks may require on-site presence, there is an opportunity for hybrid work arrangements, allowing for flexibility in managing administrative and planning aspects of your role remotely.

Key Responsibilities
