Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Data Science, or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in data analysis, with a significant focus on the e-commerce sector.
• Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
• Expertise in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
• Strong analytical and statistical modeling skills.
• Experience with web analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics).
• Proficiency in statistical programming languages like R or Python is highly desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work model in our Mahikeng, North West office.

Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets from various sources (e.g., website analytics, sales data, customer databases, marketing platforms).
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key e-commerce performance indicators (KPIs).
• Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data to uncover insights related to customer behavior, sales, marketing effectiveness, and operational efficiency.
• Perform A/B testing analysis and provide recommendations for optimization.
• Collaborate with marketing, product, and sales teams to understand their data needs and provide analytical support.
• Build predictive models and forecasts to support strategic planning.
• Communicate complex findings and recommendations clearly and concisely to stakeholders at all levels through presentations and written reports.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all reporting and analysis.
• Stay abreast of the latest data analysis tools, techniques, and best practices in the e-commerce industry.
• Identify opportunities for data-driven improvements to the customer journey and overall business strategy.
