Placements24 is seeking a Customer Service Representative in Pretoria, Gauteng, for a hybrid role balancing on-site work with remote days. You will handle inquiries across channels, provide product and policy information, process orders and returns, and maintain CRM records with a focus on customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has strong English communication, experience in customer service or a call center, and the ability to stay calm under pressure while delivering professional support.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in customer service or call center.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
• Must be able to commute to Pretoria for on-site workdays as part of the hybrid schedule.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound customer inquiries via phone, email, and potentially social media channels.
• Provide accurate information about products, services, pricing, and policies.
• Process customer orders, returns, and exchanges efficiently.
• Resolve customer complaints and issues with empathy and professionalism.
• Escalate complex issues to appropriate departments or management when necessary.
• Maintain detailed and accurate customer records in the CRM system.
• Identify opportunities to improve customer satisfaction and service delivery.
• Follow communication scripts and company guidelines to ensure consistency.
