Placements24 is seeking a experienced Community Support Manager to lead our team in Nelspruit, Mpumalanga. This hybrid role combines on-site supervision with remote administration to ensure high-quality, person-centred disability support services across the region.

You will develop and review individualised care plans, liaise with families and external agencies, manage schedules and budgets, and ensure compliance with all regulatory standards while fostering a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Qualification in Social Work, Community Services, Health Sciences or Management.
• Minimum 5 years in community services with at least 2 years in supervision.
• Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with case management software, HR systems and virtual tools.
• Knowledge of relevant legislation and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of community support workers with guidance, training and supervision.
• Develop, implement and review individualised support plans for clients.
• Ensure high-quality care aligned with policies and best practices.
• Conduct regular client assessments and service reviews.
• Liaise with clients, families, guardians and stakeholders.
• Manage staff schedules, performance and development.
• Ensure compliance with legislation, standards and contracts.
• Address client and staff concerns promptly and professionally.
• Monitor service delivery and drive continuous improvements.
• Oversee budgets and resources for the team.
• Utilise remote tools for reporting, communication and admin tasks.
