Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 4 years of Civil Engineering experience with stormwater and hydraulic design.
• Proficiency in CAD software and hydraulic modeling tools.
• Solid knowledge of hydrology, hydraulics and stormwater design principles.
• Familiarity with South African drainage standards and environmental regulations.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyze stormwater systems including culverts, channels and basins.
• Develop drainage plans, hydraulic calculations and site grading designs.
• Use hydraulic modeling software for analysis and validation.
• Prepare detailed drawings, specifications and cost estimates.
• Conduct site investigations and coordinate with project teams.
• Ensure compliance with municipal by-laws, standards and regulations.
• Assist with environmental assessments and permit applications.
• Provide technical support during construction phases.
• Contribute to sustainable urban drainage systems (SUDS).
