Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
• Pr. Eng. or Pr. Eng. in training with ECSA.
• At least 5 years' stormwater design/analysis experience.
• Proficiency in hydraulic modelling (HEC-RAS/SWMM).
• Knowledge of SA stormwater regulations.
• Strong report writing and communication skills.
• Hybrid work capable with remote and on-site duties.

Responsabilités

• Design and analyze stormwater drainage systems.
• Develop hydrological models to assess rainfall-runoff and flood risks.
• Prepare design reports, calculations and drawings for stormwater infrastructure.
• Conduct site investigations related to stormwater projects.
• Liaise with authorities and stakeholders on design and approvals.
• Ensure designs comply with regulations and standards.
• Collaborate with engineers and planners to integrate stormwater into development projects.
• Assist in tendering and provide construction support.
• Stay updated on best practices and Low Impact Development (LID).
