Placements24 seeks an experienced Audit Manager in Cape Town to lead audits for a diverse client portfolio. This hybrid role blends remote work with in-office collaboration, overseeing planning, execution, and finalization of audits.

You will mentor staff, manage client relationships, and contribute to business development while ensuring IFRS/ISA compliance and timely, profitable engagements.

Qualifications

• CA(SA) or equivalent professional designation.
• 6–8 years of external audit experience.
• Experience leading audit engagements and teams.
• Strong IFRS and ISA knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise audit teams on multiple client engagements.
• Develop and implement audit plans tailored to client risks.
• Perform risk assessments and design audit procedures.
• Review work papers and financial statements for accuracy and compliance.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to clients clearly.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Mentor and develop junior audit staff.
• Stay updated on auditing standards and regulations.
• Manage engagement budgets and timelines for profitability.
• Contribute to business development efforts.
