You will manage engagements, mentor teams, and build robust client relationships while staying current with ISA, IFRS, and South African corporate law. Some travel to client sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• Professional qualification such as CA(SA) or ACCA is essential.
• Minimum of 5 years of external audit experience with demonstrated management of audit engagements.
• Strong knowledge of ISA, IFRS, and South African corporate law.
• Experience with data analytics tools and audit software.

Responsabilités

• Plan, execute, and finalize audits in accordance with ISA.
• Manage and mentor audit teams, providing guidance and supervision.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships as primary contact.
• Assess client internal controls and identify improvements.
• Perform risk assessments and develop audit strategies.
• Review working papers and financial statements prepared by the team.
• Ensure timely completion of audits and adherence to budget.
• Communicate audit findings and recommendations to clients.
• Stay current with auditing standards and legislation.
• Assist in business development and training of junior staff.
