Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CA(SA), CIA, or CISA desirable.
• Minimum 7 years in internal audit, external audit, or risk management.
• Strong knowledge of IIA standards, risk mgmt and governance.
• Proficiency with audit software and data analytics tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the annual internal audit plan based on risk assessments.
• Lead financial, operational, IT and compliance audits.
• Assess effectiveness of internal controls and recommend improvements.
• Evaluate risk management processes and identify risk exposure.
• Perform testing and analysis of processes.
• Prepare clear internal audit reports for management and audit committee.
• Follow up on audit recommendations to ensure resolution.
• Build relationships with stakeholders across the organization.
• Mentor junior audit staff and foster growth.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory changes.
