Job summary

Placements24 partners with an expanding auditing firm in Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape, to recruit an Audit Manager. You will lead audit engagements for a diverse portfolio in financial services, mentor teams, and ensure high-quality delivery in a hybrid on-site/remote setup.

The role requires CA or equivalent, minimum 6 years in external auditing, strong IFRS knowledge, and proven leadership. You will drive risk assessment, client relationships, and continuous improvements while upholding

Qualifications

• Qualified CA or equivalent professional qualification.
• Minimum of 6 years of external auditing experience.
• Proven experience in managing audit engagements and leading audit teams.
• In-depth knowledge of IFRS and financial services regulations.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and finalize financial audits for clients in financial services.
• Manage audit teams, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback.
• Assess internal controls and identify risk and non-compliance areas.
• Prepare comprehensive audit reports with findings and recommendations.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships as a trusted advisor.
• Ensure compliance with ISA standards and regulatory requirements.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and business development.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
