Job summary

The intern will provide administrative support to the Human Capital team, assist with onboarding/offboarding, coordinate staff engagement and wellness initiatives, and participate in HR projects.

Applicants must be pursuing relevant HR qualifications and demonstrate proficiency in MS Office and strong communication abilities.

Qualifications

• A valid Degree or NQF Level 7 equivalent in HRM or related field.
• Currently completing a Postgraduate Diploma or Degree in HRM or related field.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Good attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
• Valid South African ID.
• Clear criminal and credit record.

Responsibilities

• Provide general administrative support to the Human Capital team.
• Support onboarding and offboarding processes.
• Maintain accurate employee records and assist with documentation.
• Coordinate employee engagement and wellness activities.
• Assist in learning and development tasks, including logistics for training sessions.
• Capture data and compile HR reports.
• Participate in ad hoc HR projects and initiatives.
