Placements24 is seeking a diligent HSE Engineer to join the operations team in the Polokwane region. The role focuses on developing and implementing HSE policies, conducting risk assessments, and promoting a strong safety culture across oil and gas activities in Limpopo.

You will oversee site inspections, incident investigations, training delivery, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in HSE within oil & gas and NEBOSH or equivalent certification is highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of HSE management experience in oil & gas.
• NEBOSH or similar certification is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of HSE legislation and risk assessment techniques.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
