Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced HSE Manager to lead Health, Safety and Environmental performance for operations near Bloemfontein. This role focuses on developing, implementing, and maintaining robust HSE policies to ensure a safe working environment and regulatory compliance.

You will drive risk assessments, incident investigations, training programs and safe work practices across sites, while fostering a strong safety culture and engaging stakeholders at all levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years in HSE management, preferably Oil & Gas.
• NEBOSH IGC or equivalent essential.
• Proven ability to develop and implement effective HSE strategies.
• Strong knowledge of risk assessment techniques and incident investigations.

• Develop and implement comprehensive HSE management systems and procedures.
• Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
