Placements24 is seeking an experienced HSE Manager to lead health, safety, and environmental initiatives in Mahikeng. The role focuses on developing and overseeing comprehensive HSE policies, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring regulatory compliance in a high-risk offshore context.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, 8+ years in HSE leadership, and the ability to foster a proactive safety culture while delivering training and policy execution

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in HSE management, preferably within Oil & Gas or offshore.
• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or equivalent is highly desirable.
• In-depth knowledge of HSE regulations, risk management techniques, and emergency response planning.
• Proven experience in developing and implementing effective HSE policies and procedures.
• Strong leadership, communication, and influencing skills.
