Placements24 is seeking a vigilant HSE Officer to uphold stringent Health, Safety and Environmental standards across Klerksdorp operations. You will implement and maintain HSE policies, run regular audits, and foster a strong safety culture among employees and contractors.

The role requires NEBOSH/SAMTRAC certification, 3–5 years in oil, gas or related industry, and proven ability to train, report, and communicate effectively while ensuring compliance with local regulations.

Qualifications

About the Role

Our client requires a vigilant and dedicated HSE Officer to ensure the highest standards of Health, Safety, and Environmental performance within their operations in Klerksdorp . This role is essential for implementing and maintaining robust HSE policies and procedures across all sites, conducting regular audits, and promoting a strong safety culture among all employees and contractors. You will be instrumental in minimizing risks and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements in the North West province.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage the company's Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) programs.
• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Deliver HSE training and awareness programs to employees and contractors.
• Maintain HSE records, reports, and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with all local and national environmental regulations and permits.
