Placements24 is seeking a proactive HSE Advisor to support operations in the Soweto region. The role focuses on promoting a safe and healthy working environment across all activities, implementing HSE policies, and guiding staff on best practices.

You will conduct inspections, investigations, and reporting, while collaborating with management to foster a strong safety culture and ensure regulatory compliance in the oil and gas sector in South Africa.

Qualifications

• National Diploma or Degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field.
• At least 4 years of experience as HSE Advisor or similar in oil & gas.
• Strong knowledge of SA HSE legislation and industry standards.
• Experience with risk assessments and hazard identification.
• Excellent communication and training skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor HSE policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular site inspections and audits for hazards and compliance.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, near misses; prepare reports and corrective actions.
