Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior HSE Advisor to support operations in the Stellenbosch area. You will develop and monitor HSE policies, conduct risk assessments, lead audits, and promote a culture of safety across Oil & Gas activities.

The role blends office collaboration with flexible remote work in a hybrid arrangement. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Occupational Health and Safety or related field, with 6+ years' experience in HSE within Oil & Gas, and strong knowledge of SA HSE

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in an HSE role, preferably within Oil & Gas.
• Strong knowledge of South African HSE legislation and incident investigation.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the HSE management system.
• Conduct site inspections and audits to identify hazards and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Investigate HSE incidents, near misses, and non-compliance, recommending corrective actions.
• Develop and deliver HSE training programs to employees and contractors.
• Advise management on HSE matters and drive continuous safety improvements.
