Job summary

Vector Logistics is seeking an HRIS Specialist to manage and optimize the HRIS across our Durban region. You will support HR teams, perform system upgrades, and generate critical reports to guide leadership decisions.

The role requires IT/IS training, 3+ years in Time & Attendance systems, and strong SharePoint and Excel skills, with a focus on data integrity and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Relevant IT degree or equivalent with IS focus.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience with Time & Attendance systems.
• Valid Code EB drivers’ licence.
• Strong knowledge of HRIS systems, databases and software applications.
• SharePoint administration (permissions, docs, interfaces).
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for reporting.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain the HRIS platforms.
• Coordinate between consultants, BCX help desk and end-users; handle daily user calls and escalation.
• Perform regular system updates, module management and user access controls.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of HR data within the HRIS.
• Generate and analyse reports (headcount, turnover, payroll, benefits, compliance).
• Support HRIS Manager to develop requirements for HRIS development or modifications.
