Job summary

Cape Union Mart Group seeks a specialist-level HR Information Specialist on a 6-12 month contract to lead HR data management, extraction and analytics. The role focuses on ensuring data integrity across payroll and HR systems, and transforming data into executive-ready insights for leadership and governance forums.

Key requirements include 4+ years in HR reporting/HRIS/HR analytics, advanced Excel skills, and familiarity with Payspace/Deel data sources.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years in HR reporting, HRIS or HR analytics.
• Experience producing reports for ExCo, Board or governance structures.
• Comfort with manual/semi-manual data tools.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage all HR data across payroll and HR systems.
• Extract, clean, validate and reconcile data from Payspace, Deel and other HR sources.
• Design, build and maintain HR dashboards, reports and trackers using Excel.
• Translate HR data into insights for leadership and governance forums.
• Prepare data inputs for Board/Committee reports and support governance compliance.
• Deliver executive-ready data formats and respond quickly to data requests.
