Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an HR Administrator and Payroll Clerk in Mossel Bay, Western Cape to manage HR admin tasks and payroll processing. You will maintain accurate employee records, support onboarding and offboarding, manage leaves, and assist HR projects with a detail-focused approach.

The role requires 1-3 years in HR or payroll, proficiency in Excel and payroll software, and a strong understanding of SA payroll regulations.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in HR administration and/or payroll processing.
• Proficiency in payroll software and MS Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Good understanding of South African payroll legislation and tax regulations.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly/bi-weekly payroll accurately and on time.
• Maintain employee records in the HRIS and relevant files.
• Assist onboarding/offboarding and leave administration.
• Respond to payroll/HR policy queries from staff.
• Prepare HR reports and data analysis as needed.
• Ensure compliance with payroll legislation and company policies.
