The role covers recruitment administration for A and B band appointments, background checks, new joiner onboarding, policy guidance to staff and managers, and payroll liaison. It involves leave management, safety processes, and data entry in the HR system.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management.
• 2 years' experience in a similar environment.
• Valid drivers' license.
• CCMA exposure is an advantage.
• SAP knowledge and experience would be an advantage.
• HR principles and practices; Employment and labor legislation.

Responsibilities

• Provide day to day human resource administrative support and contribute to the long-term development of the HR function.
• Provide recruitment administration support for A and B band appointments.
• Ensure all references and background checks are carried out fully and timeously.
• Manage the new joiner process from offer letter through to joining instructions and induction.
• Provide HR support and policy explanations to employees and line managers.
• Handle leave processes and related queries.
• Liaise with payroll to address queries and distribute payslips.
• Process Medical Aid / Retirement Fund entries and withdrawals.
• Capture disciplinary records into SAP and record absences.
• Coordinate training with L&D and manage CAS/bursary documentation.
