Placements24 is seeking a dedicated HR Manager for our Tembisa branch in Gauteng. You will oversee HR operations, ensure compliance with SA labor laws, and partner with line managers to align HR initiatives with business goals.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in HRM or related field, at least 5 years of HR experience (2+ in a supervisory role), strong people skills, and proficiency with HRIS. Experience in retail or manufacturing is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HRM or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of comprehensive HR experience.
• 2+ years in a managerial or supervisory capacity.
• In-depth knowledge of SA labour legislation (BCEA, LRA, EEA, SDA).

Responsabilités

• Oversee all HR functions for the Tembisa branch, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, compensation, and benefits.
• Ensure compliance with South African labor laws and company HR policies.
• Manage employee grievances and disputes with fair policy application.
• Develop HR strategies to support branch goals and operations.
• Support line managers in performance management with tools and guidance.
• Coordinate recruitment, sourcing, interviewing, and selection.
• Maintain accurate HR records and data using HRIS effectively.
• Contribute to training program development and delivery.
• Foster a positive, inclusive workplace culture through engagement initiatives.
