Placements24 in Paarl, Western Cape, is seeking an HR Intern to gain practical experience across HR functions. You will work with the HR team on recruitment administration, employee records, onboarding, training coordination, and HR projects under supervision.

Ideal candidates are enrolled in HR, Industrial Psychology, or Business Administration, with strong MS Office skills, good communication, teamwork, and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, or Business Administration.
• Strong desire to learn and develop a career in Human Resources.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• High level of attention to detail and organizational ability.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the administration of recruitment processes, including scheduling interviews and preparing offer letters.
• Support the maintenance of employee records and HR databases.
• Help organize and coordinate HR training sessions and employee engagement activities.
• Provide administrative support for HR projects and initiatives.
• Gain exposure to employee onboarding and offboarding procedures.
• Learn and apply basic HR principles under the guidance of experienced professionals.
