Placements24 is seeking an experienced HR Generalist for a fixed-term contract based in Paarl. You will provide comprehensive HR support during a period of significant organizational activity, handling recruitment, onboarding, employee relations and policy implementation.

The role offers exposure to diverse HR challenges within the picturesque Paarl region, with strong potential for contract extension based on performance and business needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Human Resources or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience as an HR Generalist or similar role.
• Solid understanding of South African employment law and HR best practices.
• Proficiency in HRIS software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day HR operations, providing support across recruitment, onboarding, and employee queries.
• Assist in the implementation and communication of HR policies and procedures.
• Support employee relations initiatives, including conflict resolution and disciplinary processes.
