Job summary

Mintek has an exciting career opportunity for an Executive Manager: Human Resources. The successful incumbent will lead and manage the HR function, aligning it strategically to drive people excellence and support organisational objectives from Randburg.

The role emphasizes governance, risk management, reporting, and stakeholder engagement, with an annual budget of R20m. A Master’s in HRM and 10 years’ experience (5 in management) are required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree level Human Resources Management or relevant (NQF – level 9).
• 10 years’ experience in the relevant field of which 5 years must be in a management position.
• Good business insight.
• Knowledge of Mintek’s business products and activities.
• A thorough knowledge of PFMA and applicable legislation.
• Report writing skills.
• Policy and procedure writing.

Responsibilities

• Lead HRD and drive the Human Resource Division strategy and operations.
• Provide strategic leadership in performance management and remuneration systems.
• Ensure divisional compliance with policies and applicable legislation.
• Deliver timely consolidated monthly and quarterly reports.
