Job summary

Elchemie is seeking a Supervisory Leader for housekeeping and cleaning services in a hotel/hospitality setting in Wes-Kaap. You will direct on-floor teams, coordinate shifts, and ensure hotel-grade hygiene and turnaround standards are met.

You will collaborate with the Executive Housekeeper, inspect rooms, manage stock, and address client queries while maintaining safety protocols and compliance with OHS standards.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of supervisory or team-lead experience in Housekeeping/Cleaning Services.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities to lead floor staff.
• Knowledge of hotel housekeeping standards, equipment, and room inspections.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Reliable transport to/from work for shift handovers in East Rand.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervisory leadership to site cleaning teams and room attendants.
• Collaborate with Executive Housekeeper; conduct regular inspections for hygiene and standards.
• Support Contract Manager with client queries and SLA compliance.
• Monitor stock usage, issue consumables, and manage inventory records.
• Ensure health and safety compliance and proper handling of chemicals.
