Placements24 is seeking an experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee cleaning operations in Soweto. You will lead a team of housekeeping staff, schedule shifts, train new hires, and ensure rooms and public areas meet high cleanliness standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in housekeeping leadership or similar management role.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, materials and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct the daily activities of the housekeeping team.
• Develop and implement cleaning schedules and assign tasks to team members.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure quality standards are met.
• Train new staff members and provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and equipment, and place orders as needed.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
