Job summary

Elchemie is seeking a proactive leader to oversee housekeeping services across multiple properties. You will direct and mentor cleaning teams, partner with the client's Executive Housekeeper, and ensure hotel-grade hygiene, room turnarounds, and inspections meet expectations.

The role requires strong knowledge of housekeeping methods, chemical safety, and OHS compliance, along with excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Flexible shifts and weekend coverage are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping and cleaning services leadership.
• Knowledge of hotel housekeeping standards and guest satisfaction.
• Understanding of OHS standards and labour legislation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor site cleaning teams and room attendants across shifts.
• Coordinate with client Executive Housekeeper and site management.
• Oversee daily cleaning operations and room inspections.
• Conduct SLA review meetings and pursue service improvements.
• Monitor budgets, wage costs, and asset registers.
• Enforce chemical safety, color-coding, and audit readiness.
