Elchemie in South Africa seeks a Senior Hotel Housekeeping Operations Lead to direct shift-to-shift activities, oversee room turnarounds, and supervise housekeeping teams in Rosebank.

You will partner with the client’s Executive Housekeeper, enforce strict hygiene standards, manage stock controls for linen and chemicals, and drive safety and HR administration in line with OHS guidelines.

Qualificações

• 3–5 years of senior/lead supervisory experience in hotel housekeeping operations.
• Proven ability to lead teams, conduct senior-level quality audits, and manage room turnarounds.
• Expert knowledge of hotel housekeeping standards, chemical management, linen protocols, and room inspections.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with diplomacy and problem-solving abilities.
• Flexible to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Reliable transport to Rosebank for shift handovers.
• Matric pass; tertiary qualification in Hospitality Management or Operations preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Direct and oversee shift-to-shift floor activities, staff deployment, and handovers.
• Conduct high-level room inspections and public area audits to maintain hygiene standards.
• Lead, mentor junior staff; manage rosters and reduce absenteeism.
• Liaise with client’s Executive Housekeeper and site management; handle guest requests.
• Oversee stock controls for linen, amenities, and cleaning chemicals; monitor usage.
• Assist Contract Management with basic HR functions and ensure OHS compliance.
