Placements24 is seeking a strategic Hotel Operations Manager to lead day-to-day operations at a Port Elizabeth property, overseeing Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B and Maintenance to drive efficiency, guest satisfaction and profitability.

You will develop and implement operational strategies, manage budgets, lead department heads, ensure safety compliance, and collaborate with Sales and Marketing to grow occupancy.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in hotel operations management.
• Strong leadership, communication, and financial management skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee the operations of all hotel departments to ensure smooth and efficient functioning.
• Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and profitability.
• Manage departmental budgets, control costs, and ensure optimal resource allocation.
• Lead, motivate, and develop a team of department heads and staff.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
• Monitor operational performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to drive revenue and occupancy.
