Job summary

Placements24 seeks an experienced Hotel Operations Supervisor to oversee daily hotel operations in Vereeniging, ensuring high service standards and guest satisfaction. This role blends hands-on management with strategic oversight to drive efficiency and excellence.

You will work with department heads and staff to maintain top-quality service, manage scheduling, and monitor budgets. On-site presence is required with some remote administrative tasks.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory or management experience in a hotel operations role.
• Strong knowledge of hotel operations, including front desk procedures, housekeeping standards, and service protocols.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in hotel management software and standard office applications.
• A diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of front desk, housekeeping, and other operational departments.
• Ensure the highest standards of customer service are maintained throughout the guest experience.
• Monitor operational efficiency, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions.
• Manage staff scheduling, training, and performance evaluations to ensure optimal team performance.
• Handle guest complaints and feedback, resolving issues promptly and professionally.
• Assist in budget management and cost control measures for operational departments.
