Job summary

Wild Dreams Hospitality in Graaff Reinet, Eastern Cape, seeks an experienced Hospitality Operations Manager to oversee service excellence across its multi-property game reserve. This is a hands-on leadership role balancing guest experience, staff leadership, and financial oversight in a remote, conservation-focused setting.

You will lead hospitality teams, manage front-of-house and beverage budgets, ensure SOP compliance, and drive high guest standards while supporting the reserve's conservation

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in hospitality, including at least 2 years in a managerial role at a 5 star lodge or hotel.
• Proficient in budgeting, financial and SOP management.
• Strong leadership, communication and guest service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple properties in a remote reserve environment.
• Familiarity with hospitality systems and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and service quality across all camps.
• Lead, mentor, and manage hospitality teams.
• Manage front of house and beverage budgets, along with supplier relations.
• Ensure SOP compliance and consistently high guest experience standards.

A luxury game reserve in the Great Karoo is seeking an experienced HOSPITALITY OPERATIONS MANAGER to oversee service excellence across its intimate camps.
This is a hands on leadership role for someone who thrives managing multiple properties at once, balancing guest experience, staff leadership, and financial oversight in a remote, conservation focused setting.
Core Criteria:

• Minimum 5 years' experience in hospitality, including at least 2 years in a managerial role at a 5 star lodge or hotel
• Strong financial and operational acumen, with confidence managing budgets and SOPs
• Proficient in hospitality systems and Microsoft Office
• Strong leadership, communication, and guest service skills
• Calm and solutions driven, with a genuine passion for high standards
• Comfortable working across multiple properties in a remote reserve environment

Core Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations and service quality across all camps
• Lead, mentor, and manage hospitality teams
• Manage front of house and beverage budgets, along with supplier relations
• Ensure SOP compliance and consistently high guest experience standards
• Support the reserve's broader conservation and sustainability values

On Offer:

• Salary: R30,000 to R35,000 per month
