Job summary

Wild Dreams Hospitality is seeking an hands-on leader to manage guest experience, staff performance and finances across multiple camps in a remote reserve setting.

You will oversee daily operations, mentor teams and ensure budgets and SOPs are followed while maintaining exceptional service standards. This role requires calm, solutions-driven leadership with a passion for conservation values.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in hospitality; 2+ years in a managerial role at a 5-star lodge or hotel.
• Strong financial and operational acumen; able to manage budgets and SOPs.
• Proficient in hospitality systems and Microsoft Office.
• Strong leadership, communication, and guest service skills.
• Calm, solutions-driven; high standards.
• Experience across multiple properties in a remote reserve environment.

Responsibilities

Job description

This is a hands on leadership role for someone who thrives managing multiple properties at once, balancing guest experience, staff leadership, and financial oversight in a remote, conservation focused setting.

Core Criteria:

• Minimum 5 years' experience in hospitality, including at least 2 years in a managerial role at a 5 star lodge or hotel


• Strong financial and operational acumen, with confidence managing budgets and SOPs


• Proficient in hospitality systems and Microsoft Office


• Strong leadership, communication, and guest service skills


• Calm and solutions driven, with a genuine passion for high standards


• Comfortable working across multiple properties in a remote reserve environment

Core Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations and service quality across all camps


• Lead, mentor, and manage hospitality teams


• Manage front of house and beverage budgets, along with supplier relations


• Ensure SOP compliance and consistently high guest experience standards


• Foster collaboration between departments


• Support the reserve's broader conservation and sustainability values

On Offer:

• Salary: R30,000 to R35,000 per month


• Live-in position


• Provident fund contribution (after 3 month probation)


• Uniform provided Wifi 3 weeks on, 1 week off rotation, with 21 annual leave days
