Job summary

Wild Dreams Hospitality in KwaZulu-Natal is seeking a lodge operations lead who thrives in a true wilderness setting. You will support daily operations, work with the management team to maintain high standards, and ensure seamless service across the property.

The role requires proven experience at a luxury lodge, comfort in a Big 5 environment, strong guest service and hands-on leadership under pressure. Live-in with accommodation and meals, immediate start, salary R18,000–R20,000 per month.

Qualifications

• Luxury lodge experience, preferably 5-star.
• Comfortable working in unfenced Big 5 environment.
• Strong operational and guest service skills.
• Reliable, hands-on leader able to lead a team under pressure.
• Live-in position with no children or pets.

• Oversee guest experience standards and front-of-house flow.
• Manage staff coordination and daily task delegation.
• Assist with stock control, ordering, and administrative duties.
• Step in across departments as needed to maintain service standards.
• Uphold safety protocols given the unfenced, open reserve setting.

You'll support the smooth day-to-day running of the lodge, working closely with the management team to keep standards high and operations seamless.

Core Criteria

• Previous experience at a luxury lodge, preferably 5-star
• Comfortable and confident working in an unfenced Big 5 environment
• Strong operational and guest service skills
• Reliable, hands-on, and able to lead a team under pressure
• No children or pets (live-in position)
