Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in hospitality management.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and operational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, OPERA, and POS systems.
• Sound understanding of stock control, financial analysis, and operations management.
• Ability to coordinate across departments effectively and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee hospitality operations including Food & Beverage, Rooms, Guest Services, and Events and Banqueting.
• Monitor service levels, gather and analyze guest feedback, and address service gaps.
• Manage VIP and high-value guest experiences, ensuring service recovery and complaint resolution.
• Drive guest loyalty programs to boost repeat business.
• Collaborate with operational duty managers and various departments.
• Prepare operational reports, participate in management meetings, and ensure follow-up on action points.
• Lead employee engagement initiatives, recognition, performance feedback, conflict resolution, and staff development.
• Develop and manage staff rosters aligned with occupancy and event demands.
• Conduct pre-shift briefings, operational inspections, and workforce checks.
• Monitor revenue for Food & Beverage and Rooms, investigating variances.
• Support revenue growth through strategic pricing, promotions, upselling, cross-selling, and packages.
• Oversee front desk operations, including room allocation, check-in/check-out procedures, and linen management.
• Maintain effective stock control across departments, managing supplier deliveries and reconciliation.
• Ensure optimal use of OPERA and POS systems for accurate reporting.
• Oversee maintenance, repairs, and external providers to ensure operational continuity.
• Uphold compliance with health, safety, food safety, security, and regulatory standards.
• Support emergency preparedness, fire safety, first aid, and staff safety training.
