Job summary

Babylonstoren is seeking a skilled IT Technician to support hotel IT infrastructure and hospitality systems at its Franschhoek property. You will manage Windows Server environments, Active Directory, networking, and MS 365, while supporting Symphony POS and Opera PMS.

The role requires strong troubleshooting skills, customer service focus, and ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality setting, including after-hours on-call if needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years' experience in IT support within a hospitality environment.
• Strong hands-on experience with Windows Server (2008/2012/2016/2019/2022).
• Solid knowledge of Active Directory, DHCP/DNS, Group Policy, networking fundamentals, and hospitality platforms.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server environments.
• Manage Active Directory users, groups, and GPOs; configure DHCP/DNS; patching and backups.
