Placements24 in Welkom seeks an Events Coordinator to plan and execute a diverse range of hospitality events from conception to completion. You will manage budgets, liaise with clients and vendors, and lead on-site logistics to deliver memorable experiences while maintaining quality and service standards.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience in event planning or coordination.
Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.
Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.

A creative mindset with a strong understanding of event trends and logistics.

Responsibilities

Manage all aspects of event planning and execution, including venue selection, catering, logistics, and staffing.
Liaise directly with clients to understand their event requirements and provide tailored solutions.
Develop event timelines, budgets, and detailed proposals, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Coordinate with vendors and suppliers, negotiating contracts and ensuring quality service delivery.
Oversee on-site event management, troubleshooting any issues that may arise.
Manage post-event follow-up, including client feedback collection and financial reconciliation.
