Job summary

Netcare Kuilsrivier Hospital is seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Stock Clerk to manage inventory across hospital stores and wards. The role requires accuracy in stock levels, timely replenishment, and coordination with nursing staff to ensure proper stock flow.

You will handle stock recordings, adherence to FEFO/FIFO practices, and assist with cycle counts as part of a busy hospital environment. The successful candidate will have Grade 12, a basic stores certificate, and experience in stock control

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or equivalent NQF 4 certificate.
• Basic stores and stock control certificate (BSSC).
• 6 months to 1 year experience in stock management.
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical stock control systems and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile physical stock against the SAP system.
• Replenish consumable stock throughout the hospital as scheduled.
• Prepare and update material requirement planning (MRP) for storage locations.
• Issue, pick and pack replenishment inventory for storage locations.
• Monitor and identify expired or damaged stock; manage back-orders when needed.
• Maintain neat packing of stock using FEFO/FIFO principles where applicable.
