Job summary

Qualifications

• A recognised Basic Pharmacist Assistant qualification.
• Registration as Basic Pharmacist Assistant with the SAPC.
• Experience in hospital or retail pharmacy is advantageous.
• Solid knowledge of pharmacy operations and stock control.
• Computer literacy and good organisational skills.
• Willingness to work weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist with stock counts, procurement and FEFO stock control.
• Receive, inspect and process stock deliveries.
• Support medication dispensing under supervision.
• Provide guidance on medication use and safety.
• Maintain accurate records and assist with admin duties.
