Placements24 is seeking an experienced HSE Manager for a fully remote role in the Oil & Gas sector. You will lead the development, implementation, and monitoring of comprehensive HSE policies to ensure a safe working environment and minimize environmental impact across operations.

About the Role Our client, a significant entity in the **Oil & Gas** sector, is seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Manager. This is a pivotal, fully remote position overseeing the HSE strategy and implementation across our operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring comprehensive HSE policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment and minimize environmental impact. We are looking for a proactive leader with a deep understanding of regulatory compliance and a passion for promoting a strong safety culture. This role is critical in safeguarding our workforce, assets, and the environment, driving excellence in all HSE matters from a remote-first perspective.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage the company's overall HSE strategy and programs.
• Ensure compliance with all national and international HSE regulations and industry standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in HSE management within the **Oil & Gas** industry.
• In-depth knowledge of HSE legislation, standards (e.g., ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001/ISO 45001), and best practices.
• Proven experience in developing and implementing HSE management systems.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and lead remote teams effectively.
• Professional certifications such as NEBOSH, CSP, or equivalent are highly desirable.
