Qualifications

• Current and valid swimming instructor certification (e.g., Swim SA, STA, or equivalent).
• Experience in a supervisory or lead role within swim instruction programs.
• Strong knowledge of swimming techniques, water safety, and child development principles.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Current First Aid and CPR certifications are mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive swimming lesson curriculum for various age groups and abilities.
• Train, schedule, and supervise a team of swimming instructors, providing ongoing feedback and professional development.
• Conduct swimming assessments and determine appropriate class placements for participants.
