Job summary

Red Ember Recruitment (PTY) Ltd seeks an experienced Head of Training to oversee planning, development and delivery of training initiatives across the group. You will ensure employees, managers, franchisees and new store teams receive effective training aligned with brand standards, systems and procedures.

This leadership role requires strong facilitation, organisational and stakeholder management skills, with responsibility for annual planning, onboarding, and sponsorships across multiple

Qualifications

• 5–8 years’ experience in training and development, preferably in hospitality, retail or franchise.
• Proven experience managing training programmes across multiple locations.
• Experience with new store openings, operational training and staff development.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate a variety of training programmes and classes, in-store and classroom-based.
• Develop and write course material for training programmes.
• Coordinate facilitation training as required.
• Develop and maintain the annual training planner and reporting.
• Plan internal and external training throughout the year and track progress.
• Coordinate brand-specific staff training for new store openings and provide system training.
• Deliver management training on company systems and procedures (Kissflow, Magicbox, Micros, e-learning).
• Coordinate the monthly induction programme and annual Workplace Skills Plan submissions.
• Manage external training sponsorships and sponsorship budget; report on effectiveness.
