HospitalityandOutdoor in Cape Town seeks a dynamic Head of Training to design, implement and oversee training programs across the restaurant group. You will drive staff development, maintain brand standards, and ensure compliance with industry requirements.

Responsibilities include facilitating in-store and classroom training, creating course material, planning the annual training calendar, reporting on training metrics, and coordinating induction and franchisee training.

Qualifications

• Class facilitation and training (in-store and classroom).
• Writing and developing course material.
• Creating and managing the yearly training planner (internal and external).
• Tracking and reporting on employee training across the group.
• Developing franchisee training planners and brand packs (SOPs, systems, procedures).
• Leading new store opening training, including management systems and audit procedures.
• Coordinating company induction programs for new employees.
• Submitting yearly Workplace Skills Plans (WSP) and ensuring compliance.
• Managing external training sponsorships (e.g., DEG) and reporting effectively.
• Providing operational support and additional responsibilities as required.

Responsibilities
