Placements24 is seeking a strategic Head of Human Resources to lead a remote-first HR function supporting a distributed workforce. You will develop and implement HR strategies aligned with our mission, focus on talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation, performance management, and compliance.

This senior role requires 10+ years in HR, 5+ in leadership, a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred), deep knowledge of employment law, and success in remote organizations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Admin, or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 10+ years in HR with 5+ in leadership roles.
• Proven experience implementing HR strategies for remote/distributed orgs.
• Strong knowledge of employment law and compliance.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and people skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute HR strategies for a remote workforce.
• Oversee talent acquisition for a distributed team.
• Manage employee relations, performance management and conflicts.
• Design and administer compensation and benefits programs.
• Ensure HR policies comply with labor laws and regulations.
• Lead and mentor the HR team for operational excellence.
• Drive DEI initiatives and employee engagement.
